This little fella has done great as a herdsire this year and sired the majority of my lambs. He is RR scrapie resistant, has thrown healthy vigorous lambs, and has been very even tempered and gentle. He carries brown, black, badger and reverse badger and has given me many colorful lambs.
His wool is very thick and dense, but only 3" staple length in a full year (most of my Finns easily produce 6" in a year.) He is a slower grower than my other rams have been, but his lambs do not seem to follow suit (so far) and have been quick and vigorous. I'm keeping a son of his from a favored ewe, so he could be available if anyone is interested.
