Haku has been an amazing herdsire! He sired the majority of my lambs in 2025 and had a few ewes in 2026 as well.
He is RR scrapie resistant, has thrown healthy vigorous lambs, and has been very even tempered and gentle. He carries brown, black, badger and reverse badger and has given me many colorful lambs.
His wool is very thick, crimpy and dense, but only 3" staple length in a full year (most of my Finns easily produce 6" in a year.) He is a slower grower than my other rams have been, but his lambs do not seem to follow suit and have been quick and vigorous.
